Last Thursday, we had the pleasure of welcoming a team from Npuls to our Immersive Xperience Lab at the Erasmus Data Collaboratory | House of AI! πŸš€

Npuls, an innovative program funded by the National Growth Funding, is dedicated to fostering impactful advancements in education. The visit was an exciting opportunity to explore how XR technology can drive transformative change, showcasing its potential to create a more inclusive, forward-thinking learning ecosystem in the Netherlands.

After insightful presentations by our Executive Director Marcel van Oosterhout πŸŸ₯, our Immersive Tech Program Manager Frederike Manders, director at ErasmusX Vanessa Abel, and the lead at SHINE Ilyaz Nasrullah, our guests immersed themselves in diverse virtual experiences. From interacting with our digital human Digiderius Erasmus to exploring VR environments and the Holographic Digital Twin of Rotterdam, the demos served as powerful and inspiring examples of XR’s transformative possibilities.

πŸ’‘The discussions that followed centered on the possibilities for collaboration, with a shared commitment to harnessing immersive tech, data, and AI to enhance education. We are grateful to Npuls for their engagement and enthusiasm, and we look forward to exploring opportunities to work together in the future. We are very happy that our colleagues from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences joined the program.
