As a startup, you have the chance to collaborate on exciting data-related projects with ECDA, present at exclusive events, and participate in workshops led by top professionals and experts. By becoming a partner, you gain visibility on the ECDA website, VIP invitations to the Erasmus Data Summit, and access to exclusive networking events. Collaboration

Technology partners have the opportunity to participate in the ECDA ecosystem of students, academics and partners by making their technologies, datasets, algorithms and/or expertise available for use or validation in education, research and events organized by ECDA. In principle, we use an in-kind model, in which ECDA has a facilitating role and introduces the technology partner to researchers and in relevant EUR education programs. If the use of the technology is scaled up, the continuation of the collaboration can also be carried out in a different way.

Erasmus Data Summit

The Erasmus Data Summit serves as a platform at Erasmus University Rotterdam, bringing together professionals from the South Holland region who are involved in data, AI, and Immersive technologies. As a startup, you will have the chance to expand your network and meet notable figures from the tech space in South Holland and the Netherlands. You will also have the opportunity to explore and showcase your immersive technology at the Immersive Tech Fair, and participate at the summit.

Our Extended Network

ECDA prides itself on its multi-cultural, interdisciplinary, and vast network of academics, students, startups, and corporations. Within this network, many talented (young) professionals exist who could help in propelling your research to the next level! Immersive Xperience Lab

The Immersive Xperience Lab (IXL) is home to the most advanced technology the EUR offers, ranging from immersive technology like the MetaQuest to supercomputers and a holo room. Whether you have an ambitious project to work on, want to experience the feeling of using advanced technology, or want to learn, the space is the place to be. As an academic, the IXL can offer you the space to utilize immersive technology for your research and experiments!

Benefits

ECDA is also an interesting partner for startups. Startups in the ECDA ecosystem have the opportunity to present themselves at events and/or in programs organized by ECDA, to inspire the participants. This offers them opportunities for further exposure and development. In addition, ECDA works closely with organizations such as YesDelft and Erasmus Enterprise, so that startups can also be guided in their further development. Startups that arise from academic research can use the infrastructure that ECDA has available to cover costs, for example for training and validating algorithms.

Your organization is invited to the annual donor dinner, where ECDA’s activities, achievements, and future plans will be presented

Join ECDA’s monthly social drinks to meet researchers, hear guest speakers, and pitch your ideas to our community.

Paid Partnership

Startups and technology partners can also become associate or full partner of ECDA with all associated features, by also entering into a paid partnership.

Research Network

Your organization can also connect with our researcher network for further applied research and validation.

MKB Data Studio

MKB Data Studio is an exciting program that takes root with one precise aim: to empower SMEs, guiding them through a seamless transition to digitalisation while harnessing the full potential of their data. There is so much to explore, and whatever stage in your data maturity journey you are, we have the resources to address your unique needs.

Program is available for small and medium enterprises. Students from Erasmus University Rotterdam and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences work on a digital challenge of an SME for a period of 8 weeks, under the guidance of a data scientist from the EUR.
