We are bringing together a carefully selected group of established leaders and experts from the public sector and AI governance, healthcare, industry, energy and port, academia, alongside emerging talent. All participants are committed to shaping the future of trustworthy and ethical AI within their respective roles or organizations.

What to expect?
The session will provide a space for open and practical dialogue on the future of responsible AI. Through keynote contributions and interactive roundtable discussions hosted by eminent experts in the field, we will explore how organizations can translate key academic insights and responsible AI principles into practical, value-creating action. Central to this discussion will be how organizations can strengthen trust, address ethical and societal considerations from the outset, and keep people at the centre of innovation.
AI Hype, Hope and Humanity Festival
The Responsible AI Roundtable is part of the three-day AI Hype, Hope and Humanity Festival, taking place from 30 September to 2 October 2026. It is co-organized by Erasmus University Rotterdam and the ELSA Labs: research and innovation hubs focused on the Ethical, Legal, and Societal Aspects of Artificial Intelligence. The Responsible AI Roundtable is organized by the Erasmus Centre for Data Analytics in collaboration with partners Convergence, the Hague Security Delta, Sociaal AI Lab Rotterdam and SSH Breed Digitalisering.
