First EUR Wide Community Event on Energy Transition

With the ambition to master and accelerate the Energy Transition through education, research, engagement, and impact, the Erasmus Centre for Energy Transition believes strongly in Erasmus University’s key role in this transformative process with profound societal impacts. Alongside many participants, a network and community of energy transition enthusiasts is sought to be established. Individuals engaged in researching, studying, or expressing interest in the energy transition’s effects on industry, people, cities, and the world are invited to join for an afternoon of connecting, sharing, and learning.


Objectives of this event:  

Creating a movement on campus around the energy transition including literacy and awareness

Share with faculty, researchers, students, and staff who have an interest in the energy transition including the social, innovation, and climate aspects of what the energy transition network can offer as an orchestrating platform.  

Create a learning community and connect transdisciplinary research and education

Meet new people outside your network   


Tentative Programme:

16:00 – 16:15 Walk-in and registration

16:15 – 16:45    Welcome to the network

16:45 – 18:15    Main programme

18:15 – 19:00    Network and check out the new immersive tech space at EUR!
