Did you join us at AI010?
Last Tuesday, our team attended the first edition of AI010, a community-focused event connecting AI-driven entrepreneurs, students, and creators in Rotterdam.
Our ECDA team hosted a booth at the AI010 plaza, where we spoke with many visitors — from business owners and professionals to students and tech-driven enthusiasts. It was inspiring to see such curiosity for AI, and we enjoyed sharing our work and vision for data-driven innovation.
It was an inspiring afternoon of keynotes, discussions, hands-on demos, and real examples of AI in action. In collaboration with Gemeente Rotterdam, Stichting Ondernemersbelangen Rotterdam, and Optimorrow, AI010 set the stage for a future where technology supports people, offering an accessible entry point for anyone eager to explore AI.
💡Highlights from the event:
- 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 Tim Versnel, Alderman for Work & Income at Gemeente Rotterdam. Together with Farshida Zafar, he discussed how AI is reshaping work and creating new opportunities for residents and businesses.
- 𝗥-𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗲, a socially responsible chatbot developed by Rijnmond, created to help voters access clear and trustworthy information before the national elections. Nadeche Orie and Ruud van Os demonstrated how it works and shared the lessons learned for other organizations.
- 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗜 with Joris Krijger, Maaike Harbers, and Vincent Everts, exploring key questions around trust and transparency in AI.
- 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁 𝗘𝗩𝗔, showcased by Vincent Everts, who entertained attendees with interactive demonstrations.
