The Masterclass was organized together with 2Tokens, Power of the Many, Osborne Clarke, and Erasmus Centre for Energy Transition. Over five interactive sessions, our participants explored decentralized energy systems and digital innovation, gaining insights into how digitalization is driving the energy transition.
The final session featured inspiring presentations and discussions, including:
- A warm welcome and introduction by Alex Bausch (2Tokens) and Malou Kroezen (Erasmus Centre for Energy Transition)
- Frank Stollman (Topsector Energie) presented the action agenda for the digitalization of energy systems
- Aliene van der Veen (TNO) explained the theory and practice of grid edge coordination
- Fardau van der Galiën (Quatt) demonstrated how consumer energy assets can be leveraged through digitalization
- Bert Waanders (Chaintegrator) introduced the DENYSE project, a solution for financing, managing, and sharing renewable energy
- Rimko van den Bergh (NOORDERLICHT Energie) discussed decision-making strategies under grid congestion.
- Marco Behling (Energyblocks) shared insights into asset tokenization in energy markets
- Kennard C. Brandenburgh (Distro Energy) showcased the advantages of local peer-to-peer energy exchange
We wrapped up the masterclass with a closing quiz, certificate ceremony, and group pictures. Congratulations to all our students on their dedication, curiosity, and valuable contributions to this masterclass!
