Game Co-Creation Session

Are you an EUR student? Worried about AI and your future work prospects? Interested in games?
You are invited to help co-create a digital narrative game that creatively explores student anxieties about new AI technologies and its impact on future job prospects!
Confronted with dire predictions of how rapidly advancing AI technologies will impact the world of work, it’s easy for students to experience fear and anxiety about future job prospects, unemployment, job security, and their ability to make study choices that correctly anticipate an uncertain future.
In this session you will help co-create a digital narrative game that encourages more reflective, nuanced, and agentic ways of engaging with these concerns. You will be contributing your perspective and experiences to shaping the game’s storyline and content.
During the session you will:
· Interrogate common assumptions about AI and work
· Explore interesting game design concepts
· Collaborate on an impactful research project
· Help create a playful and meaningful future intervention for students
