With great enthusiasm we hereby invite you to the launch of the Erasmian Language Model (ELM) at the Erasmus Paviljoen on 9 October. ELM is a project developed at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, providing an alternative to other language models. Our model is totally tailored to the needs of academic education and research. Over the past few months our team has worked with passion, curiosity and vigour on creating the world’s first generative AI by, with and for academia. We are eager to share our first results with you and together enter a new phase in the further development of ELM.

During the launch we will present the why and the how of the project. More importantly you will see the premier public demonstration of how the language model functions via a mock showcase. After the demonstration there will be drinks and the opportunity to try out ELM yourself.
